Alison Eckels

Executive Talent Advisor - Insurance | Healthcare | Life Sciences

Alison Eckels brings a diagnostic, consultative approach to executive search, intuitively assessing the "whole person" rather than simply matching skills to a role. Trained in disciplined, retained search methodology through Korn Ferry, she expertly navigates complex organizational dynamics to align human potential with critical business needs. Her practice is defined by a commitment to uncovering where an individual’s talents can uniquely impact an organization, offering a level of insight that clients and peers recognize as rare in the industry.

Throughout her career, Alison has held key leadership positions, including Director of Global Executive Recruiting at MetLife and AVP of Talent Management & Staffing at MassMutual. She has also served as Talent Acquisition Lead at Behavioral Health Network and currently operates as an Independent Executive Search Consultant. Her track record spans high-stakes integrations, rapid scaling phases, and the internal transformation of executive search functions into lean, high-performing engines for growth across healthcare, biotech, insurance, and financial services.

Alison holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Regis College and a credential in Organizational Change & Internal Consulting from Cornell University’s ILR School, which deepens her approach to search as a diagnostic exercise. Outside of her work, she is an award-winning artist and interior designer who previously taught portrait drawing. Alison resides in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, where she enjoys the coastal lifestyle, reading nonfiction, and exploring the Adirondacks and Blue Ridge Mountains with her family.
